BTL #215 - We're Back! - 10/3/16

Welcome back listeners! It's been an exciting three weeks are we're ready to dive back in. We fit this week's record between readings of the 233 page California Official Voters Information Guide (233! That many!), and it's jam packed! We've got the dirt on the first presidential debate and the ensuing melodramas of The Donald v. Women, The Donald v. Taxes, and The Donald v. Twitter. Plus, 2016 is the year of the non-endorsement, Californians might not live to see the outcome of this horrible presidential race (earthquakes around every corner), and the Senate is furious that Obama doesn’t control the laws of time and space. It was a great week for our triumphant return and we can't wait to dive in!

BTL #211 - Babies Who Know Sarcasm - 8/8/16

This week on BTL...Donald Trump has his worst week ever and Hillary Clinton has her best week thanks to a complete lack of contact with, in the world's of Duce Trump, "the paparazzi." Plus we've got updates from the Green Party Convention, the Libertarian Town Hall on CNN, and the scientific experts at Hollywood Reporter hellbent on bringing us the Donald Trump finger-size-proof we've all been waiting for. Thank God none they aren't making euphemism for the size of another body part, right?

BTL #206 - Run For Office - 6/20/16

This week on BTL, we know it's hot and hard to focus on anything but popsicles and swimming pools, but we'd love some answers regarding what our actual election results were here! 1.5 million ballots still uncounted? Let's fix that! Then our two great loves, gun control and filibusters, collided last week for an epic democratic-led 15 hour gun control filibuster that warmed our hearts and lifted our spirits but possibly wont result in any actual change. And those are only two of the zillions of things we covered this week. We'd think of more to tease but it's too hot. Just listen. We promise it'll be fun.

We encourage anybody in a state voting tomorrow to show up to the polls and vote for whoever you damn well please even if you've been told nothing matters anybody and your time would be better spent staring a 24 hour news coverage and eating ice cream. Don't allow your vote to not matter by not casting it.

This week on BTL, it's our last podcast before the big day! Californians will finally (FINALLY) get to weigh in on this year's presidential picks and we can't wait!
