We've got the latest on President-Elect Trump's (ick it hurt to say that!) first week as a legitimate person, and he's already appointed a white nationalist to his cabinet so things are going predictably. We do have a little good news too, though! Come for the horrifying Trump update, stay for the local election results! Keep on keepin' on, guys! There's nothing else we can do.

We try our hand at reporting breaking news, plus we've got a look ahead at the DNC and a look behind at the (terrifying, disorganized, slapstick-ridden) RNC. All that plus a discussion on the meaning of your vote and when voter outreach works and doesn't, plus an exciting (read: horrible) update on the week in racism. And jokes. We've got jokes too!
This week on a special bi-coastal BTL, we're joining the chorus of people who think it's time for Debbie Wasserman Schultz to give up the ghost and leave the DNC in less compromised/incompetant hands. Though even her Saturday debate scheduling couldn't stop us from sort of semi-watching the Dem Debate, most of what we took away involved Martin O'Malley being super irrelevant and a little sad. One debate we didn't snore through, however, was last week's GOP debate because GUYS it was 25% fresh shenanigans (though, sadly, also 75% warmongering)! Tune in for our rundown of both debates and more before we disappear for two full weeks into the Christmas ether!
