2/13/23 - Space Cylinders (w/Grant Sloss)

It’s Monday…you’ve watched the Rihanna show and all the weird Jesus commercials, so now settle in for a thrill-ride of an episode with one of our favorite guests, Grant Sloss. We’ll discuss SOTU, George Santos, and most importantly, whether the aliens have finally arrived. Don’t miss it!

3/7/22 - Don't Say BBB (w/Dakota Hall from Alliance For Youth Action)

3/7/22 - Don't Say BBB (w/Dakota Hall from Alliance For Youth Action)

Dakota Hall, Executive Director of Alliance for Youth Action, joins us to talk about the youth vote, the State of the Union address, and to inform us (much to our horror) that children born in the year of our lord 2010 are almost teenagers. So…that’s a lot to think about, friends. A LOT TO THINK ABOUT. It’s a great episode and we think you’re really going to love it!

3/1/22 - LA Needs A Mayor (w/Guest Chris Melody Fields Figueredo of BISC)

3/1/22 - LA Needs A Mayor (w/Guest Chris Melody Fields Figueredo of BISC)

We’re back! And we’ve watched Love is Blind and have thoughts to share. Plus, maybe WWIII is happening? Ugg. But also…elections are happening! So we’ll fill you in on all the news you may have missed on the LA Mayor’s race, and the Texas primary which is happening…Today! Plus, we’ve got an awesome interview with Chris Melody Fields Figueredo from the Ballot Initiative Strategy Center to talk about one of our favorite subjects…PROPS! Don’t miss it!

BTL #218 - Bad Hombre - 10/24/16

BTL #218 - Bad Hombre - 10/24/16

This week on BTL, we've got all the bad hombres, nasty women, and important updates from the final presidential debate.  (Thank god these are over.)  Plus, recent polls are showing thatTrump really doesn’t have much to worry about in the way of rigged elections...he'd have to be close to winning one first.  But don't worry, the rich always come out on top, and Il Duce is no different - Trump TV is the latest business scam hounding this election and it's a doozy!  Tune in, tune up, tune around, and listen to an all new BTL.  Most importantly, it's that time again so REMEMBER TO VOTE!  We'll have a prop cheat sheet up on the site this week!

BTL #184 - #HillaryPillory, The Movement - 1/18/16

BTL #184 - #HillaryPillory, The Movement - 1/18/16

Join us this week on BTL as we discuss where our medium tolerance of the idea of maybe voting for Hillary Clinton in the general met it's natural end. Misrepresenting corporate ties was one (bad) thing, but misrepresenting single-payer healthcare and Bernie Sander's (superior) health platform is where we draw the line. We're legit not having her in any way shape or form! Come for the rage, stay for our rundowns of the rest of this action-packed week: Tuesday's State of the Union, Thursday's GOP Debate, Sunday's Dem Debate, and the latest on Iran followed by our coverage of the infuriating/criminal Flint, MI water situation.  The episode is long but worth it!

BTL #183 - Guns Per Tear Shed - 1/11/16

BTL #183 - Guns Per Tear Shed - 1/11/16

This week on BTL...it's a polling bonanza!  The first polls major numbers 2016 are filled with exciting plot twists!  With Iowa and New Hampshire are mere weeks away, the pressure is mounting on establishment campaigns on both sides of the aisle and we can't help but love the fallout!  Plus, Donald Trump releases his first video ad; maybe in the course of “figuring out what going on” he can learn to write better copy.  And Ted Cruz birtherism is finally taking center stage in a fascinating GOP battle royale that promises to get better (read: more exciting) before it gets worse (read: solved). Also, Obama makes common sense gun control reforms that are now more necessary than ever since Americans basically purchased out all the guns that are currently for sale last month in an effort to stop shootings (what?).  And guys, Dr. Zizmor retired so childhood is basically over and we've gotta start figuring our shit out.  Blargh.  Check us out right here or on iTunes/Stitcher!
